Me too - dp and ds keep telling me my arse is the size of a small continent! (And ds randomly told me I had thunder thighs the other day) :(

My backside is like Kim K's .... People notice my bum before the bump!!!!!!!

28+3 and I'm definitely the size of a planet.

I like to see it as my arse trying to balance out my belly therefore helping my centre of gravity remain the same

Tell me about it! Currently 32 weeks and I've gone from a size 12 to a size 18 on the bottom. And I mean bottom, not waist or anything which is obviously going to grow. In fact I got some H&M Mama trousers in a size 18 the other day and I couldn't even pull them up (thankfully other stores are slightly more generously cut!) Yet my top half has remained at size 12-14. I'm a bloody stupid shape.

tiptop My DH knows he would be putting his life at risk if he made comments like that! How bloody mean. Even if it was true, there's no need to say it He should be appreciating the marvellous thing your body is doing - growing another human being, HIS child. I am furious for you.

My arse and thighs may be huuuge but I am distracted from that by the fact that my boobs have gone from C to G cup and are still growing, long before my milk has come in. Not sure there aren't two more babies in there.

My work colleagues have started calling me Beyoncé. I am convinced that my uterus is in my bum this time around?

A "friend" said yesterday "hmmm no I didn't out weight in any where else when I was pregnant" could've lamped her! Feeling huge (at 26 weeks)!

However the secretary at work the other day announced that I must be having a boy as my bum wasn't massive.... I'm rather glad she didn't come to the alternative conclusion...

I heard my mom tell dp "it's definitely a girl - I know because her bum has got soooo huge" his reply "oh is that the reason?"
He also helpfully explained to me it was to counterbalance the huge bump.
I'm 34 wks and still getting bigger by the day... Groan

Err I have a foetus in each bingo wing it seems. Honestly massive stretch marks. DH says it's cos I'm pregnant (am 30wks) but I just don't understand why that would affect my arms, so must actually be just cos I'm a massive fatty

I've been reading Linda Geddes' "Bumpology" book.
Apparently the bum and thighs are where we keep the omega 3 which is the first to go during breast feeding.

Summer I'm encouraged by this omega 3 business. Might look out that book as conciliation! Though lying on sofa last night sudden realisation that my thighs are suddenly all tree trunky. Gah! Mind you it's 5.30am and I just are a bagel.

I discovered the other day how fat and lumpy my thighs are - I used to have such nice legs! I hope it does go with breast-feeding
