Hello i want to have my teeth done tmra, there isn't anything on the internet saying it harms the baby, and the procedure is ur gums are protected so ur not actually swallowing anything and can't be absorbed by ur gums.

Would you? Xx

No. Apart from anything else, lying on your back for a procedure would be exceptionally uncomfortable.

I had mine done before I got pg & had to sign a release form before I had them done. One of the conditions of the form was that they wouldn't do it if you were pregnant. I'm not actually sure of the reason why so I'd just check with the place your wanting to get them done at as if may be against there policy to do it

I'll ask my hubby he is a dentist

Thankyou! I bet they won't do it. Don't see how it would harm baby tho.

Having my hair and nails done too as a little pick me up for the next three weeks (baby will more than likely need pulling out) xxx

I honestly can't remember why you can't have it done and the woman did tell me at the time. I want to say it's something to do with your gums being more sensitive during pg but I might be making that up!
There's nothing wrong with having a little pick me up, I'm 36weeks and I'm planning on a pamper day in the next week or so as I figure I won't have much time for pamper days once baby arrives Smile

I'll give them a ring in the morning. My friend is a midwife and said even tho ur not supposed to do a lot of things it's fine too. Xxxxx
