Hiya
I lost just over a stone in the first couple of months of being pregnant, combo of feeling constantly sick and having no appetite and not drinking wine I think! Midwife wasn't overly concerned at my booking in appt, kept an eye on it tho. I'm now 23 weeks with a HUGE bump and am only just what I was when I started. I'm feeling smug about it actually! Ha x

I lost a stone when pregnant with ds because I had to maintain a healthy diet as I had gd. I wasn't big to start with and none of the (many) medical professionals I saw were worried. On the plus side I was back in my regular clothes as soon as I was out of hospital.

Thanks for starting this hellymummy. I'm 10 + 4 and already almost a stone down on my pre-pregnancy weight due to sickness. It is worrying but when I saw the doctor last week he wasn't worried. My sister had exactly the same experience with her first baby. She lost tons of weight in her first and second trimesters because she was so sick. She went on to have a healthy 9 pound baby! She was also back into her normal clothes straight after giving birth.

Hi all - I'm losing weight too. First trimester sickness (and giving up booze, wine was a huge weakness), and now finding myself a single mother and constantly full of anxiety and no appetite. Feel sick when I force food down so living mainly on fruit juice. The doctor doesn't seem too worried that at 16+3 I'm smaller than I was before pg. I'm still worried though which I think is normal - have a scan in a week which I hope will put my mind at rest. Keep reminding myself that the baby is a "perfect parasite". I may look like sh*t but s/he will take everything it needs from my body.

Up until 2 weeks ago, I was smaller then before pregnancy. Could only eat tiny portions or was sick, didn't have an appetite. I'm 18 weeks and have now started gaining weight.
