Whoever named it morning sickness needs shooting!! Morning, Noon and fricking Night Sickness more like! Argh I can't take much more! I am only in week 8 with my second child and experienced nothing like it with my little boy who is now 3 years old. I am going to bed at the same time as him, not because I am tired but because it doesnt pain me when I am asleep!! Sat at my desk eating lunch and could just cry!! (OTT I know but I am so fed up!). Any suggestions for nausea remedies apart from the usual obvious ones? I am constantly eating but within 30 mins, I feel like I am gonna puke again!!

Excitingly, my Emma Bridgewater parcel I ordered last week has just turned up while writing this so at least I have a distraction for about ooooooh 10 minutes!

Sorry to moan! :)
Becky

Hi, The only things I could manage in the beginning was ginger biscuits, also a plain peace of bread and butter seemed to help. Someone suggested ginger tea and nausea/sea bands but haven't tried that one. Good luck x

I bought some anti sickness bands that go round your wrist. They helped for a bit. Try just eating cold food as it doesn't smell as strong as hot. All I could eat when I was suffering from morning sickness was cold boiled eggs, raw carrots, cucumber and ice cold orange juice.

I am 8 weeks too and can really sympathise. I feel dreadful. I never felt like this with 3yr old ds. I feel bad for him too because I don't have the energy to do much with him. I'm struggling badly with work and falling behind Sad .

My dp has been great at picking up the slack but I can tell he's getting fed up now too.

I suxk boiled sweets or mints all day at work which seems to help a bit. Eating small and often helps a bit too, even though I don't feel like eating I force myself too. Cool fruit like pineapple, melon, oranges have got me through the weekend.

Counting down the days to twelve weeks when I'm hoping this will lift.

I'm 38+5 and am still being sick, and have been today infact. I've tried everything. Nothing works.... I think I'm just unlucky! I would suggest blander foods...x
