Toxiplasmosis from sand? How great is the risk?

Hello. I am 22 weeks pregnant and all through this pregnancy I seem to have become periodically paranoia about toxiplasmosis. In the first trimester I ate some undercooked meat and got really upset reading about the terrrible effects of toxi. I had a test then that came back negative. Now I am worried again because I went on a camping holiday abroad last week, which involved unavoidably eating food with sand in it (it was very windy so sand got everywhere!) I know that toxi can be in soil and sand. I'm considering asking for another test. Am I being unnecessarily worried?

Yes totally!

In a word - yes. Sorry :) It's really unlikely you've got toxoplasmosis from sand particles. Like, reaaaaally unlikely. Though I completely understand the worry.
Do you know what's actually helpful? Ask a vet about toxoplasmosis and how you contract it. Midwives don't actually tend to know much about the actual risks of it (for instance, most think that changing cat litter is the biggest risk still when it's not). A vet will know much more - mine really reassured me about it, though alas I can't remember what he said to tell you!
