How do you "know"?

With DC1 we got pregnant on honeymoon and I just "knew" I was pregnant before I took the test.

DH and I have been casually trying for DC2 for a couple of months. Trying not to POAS as it is TOO soon (period due on Monday) but I am having that I just "know" I am pregnant feeling again.

I can't sleep, have a hideous taste in my mouth, am off meat (which happened last time) and could not drink a glass of wine last night. Given my love of meat and wine if I am not pregnant I must be seriously ill .

Trying to resist the urge to POAS so wanted to hear anyone else's "I just knew stories" to distract me .

Low-level nausea from about 7dpo. Luckily for me it never got any stronger.

I had stretches round my uterus like i couldn't believe. They were very different to my normal period pains. And normally my lumbar vertebrae kill me. Not that month in fact the only back pain I had was because my bras were wrong and stopped as soon as I was fitted properly. Normally backache is a telltale sign af is incoming. My boobs always hurt after ov to period but this time they hurt and turned into rocks. 20+3 now.

You could try the First Response test? Think you can test up to a week early if I remember correctly? (It was nly 6 months ago and I can't remember!)

I also had a funny taste in the back of my throat, the weekend that I got 'caught' my stomach was gurgling and cramping and I just felt slightly 'odd'

Very tender breasts - so sore one day I was crying, and stopped craving tea and nicotine.

Terrible, terrible nork ache.
Weird pink CM never seen before nor since.
Metallic taste.
Bizzare vivid dreams.

I sort of 'knew' but also knew I was symptom spotting so didn't want to be too confident!

Bloated belly, but mainly my boobs! Oh my, it seriously felt like they had done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson! Oh... And bacon made me feel bleurgh :/ plus I had an afternoon nap which I never ever did. I had a string feeling, but I must admit I wasnt 100%

Even though I was being careful I really thought I was about to fall pregnant. Then the night it happened just had this oh shit moment after he came, I did lots of tests at 3 weeks + 3 and got some faint positives and lots of negatives and my oh said I wasn't pregnant and it was all in my head. The next day, I got a tesco own and did it in the afternoon, obviously positive, I handed it to him and said, see I'm not crazy!

I kept needing a wee or 3 in the middle of the night, fell asleep all the time (parents' sofa in day time once and their sofa is really uncomfortable to sleep on!), tingling / permanently erect breasts... I knew well ahead of taking test. In fact I kept thinking "come on, hurry up due date, I need a confirmation of what I am sure is true!"
