Bleeding but 6+4wks heartbeat present.

Ok so I felt really happy Friday because although I had been bleeding, I went for scan and baby had a heartbeat but now I am really worried. Bleeding has turned dark red and passing lots of little clots. I know some people have bleeding this early and it can continue as normal pregnancy but I'm still concerned :( I've read at 6 weeks you have a 78% chance of pregnancy continue.

Thank you. I know it's terrible, I already have 4 boys so keep trying to rest as much as possible but feel so at a loss. Will be 7 days of bleeding tomorrow so hopefully it will eventually stop I'm so scared of going hospital again and finding out everything has gone wrong specially after seeing the heartbeat. My previous 2 MC never had any heartbeat so i feel this would affect me more if it does end like that.

It could be a subchorionic haemorrhage as that would cause bleeding without (usually) affecting the embryo. Even lots of heavy bleeding and clots - seriously. I have known so many friends and due date buddies go through similar.

I would suggest ringing the EPU or similar and asking to come in again and explaining how your bleeding has really picked up.

Thank you all for advice but yesterday bled badly and last night had a single stomach cramp and baby came straight after. (Sorry TMI) Saw the tiny little bubba in its sac :'( feels horrible knowing I saw it's heart beating two days earlier but I guess it wasn't meant to be x
