any suggestions...all mine so far either go baggy, see through, or bobble and wear badly between the legs ???

I also have a pair of Seraphine ones and they are great. Very opaque which is great with dresses etc.

Siamsa · 17/01/2014 19:28

Strong recommendation for Mamas and Papas over the bump leggings from me. Mine still look great after 2 pregnancies, haven't gone baggy at all, and are really soft and comfy to wear.

cantthinkofagoodone · 17/01/2014 19:34

I just wore non maternity h&m regular ones.

smilesallround247 · 17/01/2014 20:11

I wear normal new look/primark ones. They stretch over my bump without being tight.

MrsPatMustard · 17/01/2014 20:33

I've spent the past 5 months living in Boden maternity leggings. They are a little bit pricier than some other places etc but so worth it. I'm now 38+ 5 and they are the only items of clothing that still fit. Very soft, very comfy, plus they have been washed and washed and washed and haven't faded or bobbled at all....

I really like my Boden ones too, just dug them out to wear for my 2nd pregnancy. So comfy!

OwlinaTree · 18/01/2014 09:05

I've got a h n m pair, but I prefer my new look ones, they are softer and more comfy. Seem to come up big too, I bought medium (12ish normally) but could have probably got small.

They are soooooo comfy tho!!

Lj8893 · 18/01/2014 09:09

I got a pair in debenhams that were great, thick and supportive. They lasted me right through my pregnancy (I bought them at 3 months) and I carried on wearing them after birth till they finally died and wore between the thighs.

Catsize · 18/01/2014 10:40

I am a size 16. Bought a few pairs of Sainsbury's non-maternity leggings in a size 18 and they have lasted me right through two pregnancies.

Pinkbell123 · 18/01/2014 11:57

I second sainsburys regular leggings. I was a 12/14 my mum bought be a pair of 16s and they still fit great over the bump at 36 weeks.

H and m mama are good but mine wore quickly at the crotch.

Halfling · 18/01/2014 12:10

I normally swear by Boden Leggings. But the maternity leggings left me disappointed. I bought it in my regular size, but after a couple of wears and a wash they became loose around the bump band and I had to constantly hoik them up.

So far, even after shopping at Seraphine, Boden, Isabella Olivier, Debenhams etc. for Maternity Range, I can definitely say that H&M maternity range & ASOS - Mamalicious brand has been the best fit for me. I haven't tried their leggings though.

Hellymummy · 18/01/2014 14:16

Top shop for me xx

moomin35 · 19/01/2014 12:28

I bought 2 pairs in Sainsburys (Tu clothing) as a pack of 2 (one black, one dark grey) and although they are not maternity leggings they have been great for me (but Im only 21 weeks so that may change!!). They were £10 for the pair i think but are really good quality :-)

moomin35 · 19/01/2014 12:29

Ooh sorry i've just seen some ladies have already recommended them above :-)

moomin35 · 19/01/2014 12:30

I bought another maternity pair in gap that go over the bump but they are very thin so fine for round the house but little else.
Orderded a boden pair too but they were really shiny and I didnt like them at all.

janmk · 21/01/2014 19:44

got the next ones they seem a nice fabric...but i did the bend over and view ass test...and they are see through ! Shock

Seconding Seraphine - great quality. Even if I felt like Obelix in the early days.

Bodicea · 21/01/2014 22:17

Jojomamanbebe - actually bought another pair boat baby!!

Mim78 · 21/01/2014 22:32

Boden are good

Chocolatemolehill · 21/01/2014 23:31

I love my GAP leggings!! A bit more pricey than other options (£19 I think) but super soft, comfortable and nothing shows through. They are no-panel (low under the bump) so will still be good after pregnancy.

Morien · 22/01/2014 05:20

Love my Boden maternity leggings - glad I followed advice to go down a size though.

mamapants · 22/01/2014 06:17

I just bought jojo ones in sale. 6pounds down from20. They are really comfy and thick.

Wuxiapian · 22/01/2014 09:29

Boden leggings seeing me through.

surr3ymum · 22/01/2014 10:04

Bizarrely enough I swear by the cheap and cheerful ones from Matalan - £8 a pair, I bought about 4 so they're on a cycle and have held up well in the wash. Got some half price in the sale too!

shinytrousers · 22/01/2014 22:11

Boden are the best I've bought. You can wear them over bump or folded down, they wash really well and keep their colour. Always look out for discount vouchers as they are pricey but worth it.
