Pretty sure with DS it was 20 weeks, though people have said subsequent pregnancies you feel earlier....

This is my second pregnancy and I started feeling slight movements at about 18 weeks but now stronger ones at 20 weeks xxx

ThisIsMeNow · 16/01/2014 20:32

16 weeks first time and dp could feel her from 20 weeks.
Hope it'll be sooner with this one.

buttercrumble · 16/01/2014 20:33

Mine was about 20 weeks too, such a lovely fluttering feeling

LastOneDancing · 16/01/2014 20:39

Bubbles at 13 weeks, movements by 16. First baby.

But I'm convinced I'm a bit more advanced than they say... Grin

First pregnancy, I was nearly 18 weeks when i started feeling like someone was flicking me from the inside. :)

mixi82 · 16/01/2014 21:00

Ooooooo I can't wait! This will be my first and I'm 14wks+1 so I'm looking forward to it. My mum says it'll feel like bubbles but I think I've felt that the last week or so and put it down to food digesting. I was told most down't feel until 20wks when it's their first though....feels like ages to wait for that :(

red the flicking sounds like a good description, I'll look out for something similar

HelpMyHair · 16/01/2014 22:26

19 weeks with DS, 15 weeks with this one. Never felt the bubbles or butterfly's though.

Hubbythecatandme · 16/01/2014 22:38

I think skinny women (i.e. no fat on tummy) feel it earlier though. I can't remember where I read this but it was a reliable source!

MummyPig24 · 17/01/2014 05:07

I felt this baby (3rd) very early. Around 13 weeks. With my second it was more like 15 weeks .

lilyaldrin · 17/01/2014 05:09

Around 19-20 weeks both times.

2blessed · 17/01/2014 05:25

22 weeks with dc1 and felt first movement last week at 18 weeks with dc2.

ThistletoeAndWine · 17/01/2014 05:32

I was almost 22 weeks! It feels like farts jn belly ;-)

smilesallround247 · 17/01/2014 07:17

I felt them about 18 weeks. like a fish tail swishing in my tummy. now they feel like muscle twitches.

willyoulistentome · 17/01/2014 07:19

About 16 weeks both times I think. It's lovely.

cookiemonster5678 · 17/01/2014 07:51

I felt subtle movements similar to bubbles popping from 14 weeks right through till about 17 weeks.

This was constant so i knew it was my baby.

Then i started to feel strong kicks which were also visible when looking at my bump.

Lots of people probably miss those bubble type movements as they really are so subtle. You will know though if you are tuned into your body. It could be mistaken for wind or or something ha ha.

I think it is rare for a first timer (like me!) to feel movement so early on, so don't worry if you don't. I think 16/17 weeks is more likely for most.

Mummytobe2014 · 17/01/2014 09:13

My first pregnancy and didnt feel any movement until at least 22/23 weeks - maybe i just hadnt realised what it would feel like and so missed the subtle movement!?
