What to expect at a growth scan?

Hey ladies, I have a 35 weeks growth scan on Monday as I've been measuring big and my curve is steeper than the ones on the graph.

What should I expect? Will we get given measurements and estimated weight? Do they give an estimate of the 40 week weight? Will they be able to check its still a boy in there..?!

Thanks for any advice Smile

I always got a print out of all measurements put in the back of my hand- held notes. They do everything: head and abdominal circumferences, femur length, amount of fluid. They give an estimated current weight (which can be 20% out either way so not really that helpful). Not sure about a predicted weight. Yes, they'll re-check the sex if you ask. They have to concentrate quite hard to get the measurements so there are lots of long silences. The baby is quite big at this stage so you can only see a bit at a time: you'll get a nice view of his whole face though!
