Hi all,

Anyone bought a decent pram that fits in a ford fiesta? Only tried fitting in a a second hand ICandy peach and that wasn't going to happen. Really keen for something robust that I can run with take on walks and go about town like babt jogger however Dimensions all look similar.

Any recommendations? (other than buy new car!)

We fitted prams in ok, but the parcel shelf had to go.
We had a Silver Cross travel system linear freeway and a Phil and Teds sport with doubles kit. no room left for shopping thoughSmile
swapped to a maclaren xt +/- buggy board as soon as it was practical though.

And there was only one way to make it fit. The longest part had to go kind of diagonally
We still have a fiesta now. But will get something slightly bigger when we replace it I hope. I really fancy a cmax

I'm surprised you couldn't fit the icandy in, I had my friends, their twins in car seats and their pram chassis, which I'm sure was an icandy double frame, along with associated baby crap, in my fiesta without too much hassle.

I did find the Silver Cross frame, plus carrycot, a bit much for the boot. It went in but it wasn't easy. The Silver Cross seems like a massive pram to me. I'm hoping to get the uppababy vista, apparently it folds down well, we shall see!

We've got a 3 door ford fiesta and can fit the mamas and papas zoom (3 wheeler) in the boot by taking one of the wheels off - it is really easy to collapse and take apart.

Purpleboris · 07/01/2014 09:55

Thank you I'll check out the zoom! I could have taken the wheels off the ICandy which might have made it fit but As I already had to remove the actual seat already I thought that might get annoying - maybe I need to realise theres more compromise required!

I got an oyster pushchair and it fits in my tiny fiat 500 boot, you can't get much smaller than that!

I had a 3 door Fiesta and our Quinny Buzz fitted in the boot. Had to take the back wheels off, but it was straightforward and you got used to it.Smile

I have a five door Fiesta and fitted in a Jane Slalom Pro. Had to remove the parcel shelf but for me that wasn't a problem. Didn't need to remove the wheels. Good pram. Has a wheel locking thing for if you want to run with it.

We have a 5 door fiesta and tried pram in it in shop, a silvercross and it fitted fine. Which model fiesta have you got? X
