Well ladies we have had to endure tiredness, sickness, aches and pains and abstaining from alcohol the entire festive period.
On the flip side however i am looking at peoples status's on facebook this morning referring to bad heads and cant help feeling ive got one up. There had to be one bonus to be being pregnant at this time of the year, NO HANG OVER!

Lol i thought this was meant in a different way. I've had people tell me (LOTS of people) I would certainly go early and baby would surely be here before the end of the year; and now I can smugly announce it's definitely going to be a 2014 baby Wink
But yes, looking at my DH now who's severely hung over, I do feel quite grateful that I don't have to deal with that sort of thing!!

Hear hear! We may as well crow. Last night I watched Jurassic Park 2 in my pyjamas and wished DP a happy new year while listening to drunk people singing and falling over in the car park outside our apartment. But this morning I'm fresh as a daisy. SO THERE!

SweetPea86 · 01/01/2014 10:38

Yes I agree I am a ill smug today but I feel exhausted and aching every were so at the same time feeling sorry for my self lol

I feel restless like I should be doing something but can't be bothered lol

Not at all. I've hated being sober all Christmas and new year. The last thing I feel is smug.

Plateofcrumbs · 01/01/2014 11:03

I was hoping to feel smug but I've still woken up with a headache and feeling queasy - no fair!

AliOh · 01/01/2014 11:21

I'm with you, I'm feeling terribly smug this morning :) I hate going out on new year anyway so was grateful for a good excuse to bring in the new year on the sofa in my pjs!

BlindKitty · 01/01/2014 11:21

Definitely smug over here! Plus more money in my purse!

sleepingdragon · 01/01/2014 11:27

I'm a bit smug too, although a hungry smug- have hired a cottage for new years with friends, and everyone else is still asleep and not cooking the fry up that was promised for this morning!

Mitchell2 · 01/01/2014 11:51

Not smug, still suffering with tiredness nausea etc.... To be honest it's like I was out boozing the night before anyway minus the shenanigans Hmm.

VoodooChimp · 01/01/2014 11:59

YABU

Pregnancy is essentially a 9 month hangover (for me anyway).

Peacenquiet2 · 01/01/2014 12:32

Sorry to hear that voodoo and the others who are suffering regardless. All i can say is that your crappy feelings will ultimately be for a very good reason whereas hangovers are essentially none productive and costly!

Nope, I feel hungover even though it's not possible! Hyperactive toddler at 1am may have something to do with that though... why did we think it was a good idea to host dh's family today?!

Writerwannabe83 · 01/01/2014 13:14

I don't feel smug - I feel knackered Grin

I had a curry last night and the wonderful heartburn that followed meant I got 2-3 hours of broken sleep. Ah well Smile

Happy new year everyone!! Smile

sunflowered · 01/01/2014 13:32

Me too writer - feeling exhausted, slept badly, head aches, dry mouth. In fact i'm beginning to wonder if some joker put vodka in my schloer.

dimdommilpot · 01/01/2014 13:33
