At about 26 weeks when we saw it on offer.

bronya · 31/12/2013 14:32

About a month after he was born! I had a sling at first.

HomeIsWhereTheHeartIs · 31/12/2013 14:33

Was due in May, bought in the Jan sales, got it delivered in March (happened to have a day off work. No other reason).

Tea1Sugar · 31/12/2013 14:54

Ordered it in October, it's being delivered in March, baby due in April. We really wanted a bugaboo chameleon and it was on a brilliant offer.

Rockchick1984 · 31/12/2013 15:00

Around 20 weeks I think - previous miscarriage so was too nervous to order it early, but spent a fair bit of time prior to this choosing which one was right for me :)

SaucyJack · 31/12/2013 15:01

Around 19 weeks as it was on half-price.

Also, we bought ours from Kiddicare, and not to put too fine a point on it- but they'll refund on unused baby goods for up to a year so you won't waste your money if the worst happens.

TobyLerone · 31/12/2013 15:04

About 6 months, I think. It's still in the boxes. The baby's due at the weekend.

ImATotJeSuisUneTot · 31/12/2013 15:13

At about 10 weeks - it was a MASSIVE eBay bargain, saved me around £800, a risk I was willing to take. Smile

peeapod · 31/12/2013 15:22

MrsCharlieD · 31/12/2013 15:48

CointreauVersial · 31/12/2013 15:49

I won it in a competition when about 6 months pregnant. Was just leafing through a baby magazine.

Shellywelly1973 · 31/12/2013 15:57

RedRobin1 · 31/12/2013 17:13

Littlebean13 · 31/12/2013 17:25

Join the club shelley I'm 33 weeks & I haven't even really looked at many travel systems, never mind bought one! Been putting it off until the new year & now it's suddenly here so I best get a move on!

Cariad007 · 31/12/2013 17:29

I'm holding out until the new Babyzen Yoyo comes out next month as it looks perfect for our living situation.

puggywug81 · 31/12/2013 17:37

I got mine at 9 weeks, it was too cheap to resist saved £350, I figured for that big a saving would take my chances!

TheRaniOfYawn · 31/12/2013 18:29

When DD was 12 weeks old and I was worried about slipping on ice when she was in a sling.

SweetPea86 · 31/12/2013 18:51

I haven't yet and I'm 25 weeks I need to get a move on lol

YoniMitchell · 31/12/2013 18:54

Ordered in mid-Nov, took delivery in mid-Dec, baby due in a week and a half. Wanted to have a buffer in case there was anything wrong with the delivery, but not have it too soon.

MrsBennetsEldest · 31/12/2013 18:54

1994 :), sold it after 3 DCs in 2000.

FrankelInFoal · 31/12/2013 19:21

We bought ours last week, I'm 31 weeks today.

MrsRV · 31/12/2013 19:38

at about 18 weeks with DD1. the reason being is that we wanted an icandy strawberry & there was a huge shortage/waiting list! glad we did as it only arrived a week before I had DD & I was 3 days overdue! x

sambababy · 01/01/2014 13:35

Just wondering, do they usually take a long time to arrive after ordering, or did most of you ladies ask for it to be delivered later due to space etc? Or does it depend where you buy from?

Rockchick1984 · 01/01/2014 13:39

Samba unless you want one that has a long waiting list icandy then you can usually get it within a couple if weeks, quicker still for others which may be instock at mothercare/kiddicare etc :)

neversleepagain · 01/01/2014 13:43

Ordered it at 26 weeks, had it delivered at 32 weeks.
