Okay so I'm 10 days past ovulation and past few days I've been constantly urinating, have aching nipples, bottom of my back aches very much and this morning I have started feeling sick just not actually being sick!

Is it too early to take a test? Or should I give it 3 more days when my period should be due?

I've had a baby before, he's is now 5! But I don't remember any symptoms apart from urinating frequently with that pregnancy!

Is all these signs to early?

I started weeing a lot from the day of implantation and got my bfp at 10 dpo using a frer so you could try one of those but be aware that it's usually best to wait until af is due.

Yes. Unless you have money to spare, testing before AF is due is a route to madness. Yes you can in theory get an early reliable result. But so often you don't.

Thank you. It's driving me crazy just because of the symptoms I have but I think I'll leave it a few more days and take a test.

If you go to poundland there test are very sensitive and should work at ten days past ovulation.

Hi tasha89x,
am the same at the moment eager to test but to be honest I havent had any symptoms like my first pregnancy, my first born is only 5 months old at the moment but she was planned so I knew when i had ovulated, and knew when to expect all the symptoms, this time round wasnt exactly planned but there could be a possibility that iam :-).
The only symptoms ive had is spotting for one day, period pain cramps about 2 weeks ago and slight nausea, but I know from previous pregnancies as ive also had Mc that sore boobs was always the sign for me. Have you decided what day to test ? Good luck x

Hi I've just decided to test my self to calm my mind really because it was driving me insane lol but I've just done an early response one and it's come out negative. So maybe all these symptoms are just from my period waiting to come. Feeling quite sad now actually, was never planned but I'm still a bit upset. If my period doesn't come by Saturday I may take another test. Good luck with yours hun :) x

Well you never no there might still be hope, ive never used first response before, but last time used really cheap ones at first cos I got a bit obsessed testing, and I didnt get a very very faint line till 2 days before my period, so then used a clear blue one that actually tells you are pregnant just to confirm, I only have cheap ones in so trying to hang fire till at least Thur, keep me posted x

Remember that you probably won't test positive straight away even if you are pregnant. It can take time for the preg hormone to build up. it was 8 days after I missed my period that I got a positive.

VJONES1985 · 31/12/2013 18:31

I feel very lucky that I got a v faint positive on an ic four days before af was due!
