Will I be ok to drive home after ECV?

Hello, I am booked in for an ECV shortly to try to turn my breech baby. I'm not 100% sure about having this procedure but I'm not sure I have much choice - DH has just had an accident meaning I'd have little practical support in the case of a CS and hospital are not happy to support a vaginal breech delivery, so I need baby to turn!

Hospital is around an hours drive away, if you've had this procedure would you have been fine to drive this distance home afterwards?

Also, I'm having some fairly strong tightenings leaving my bump rock hard, will the muscle relaxant sort this out or might this stop it working / make it hurt more?!

I'd really appreciate any opinions.

I drove home after mine - not that far about 20 mins or so. I didn't know I was going to have one though... I don't remember having any muscle relaxants either.

The consultant mentioned the muscle relaxants to me so I think I'll be having them, bump probably too hard without I'd think.

Thank you for replying, it's good to know.
