Feel like I am an elephant this is DC3 surely he should have shot out on my due date!

I was later & later with each of mine (4 in total).
Are you being pressured to be induced? Or declined when you want it?

Yes and no. They say they are happy for me to wait but keep asking about it.

Am at the birthing center now about to have another stretch and sweep.

lots of sympathy from me......
DS1 was due on Christmas Day (12 years ago!) - he wans't born until 10th Jan.

I know how you feel! My DS3 was ten days late after three sweeps! My MW said number three's are always naughty at wanting to come out

Hope your sweep does something. I'm 40+8.
Never thought I would still be pregnant and getting very bored of it now. Thought I'd have been in and out of hospital and have my newborn at the Christmas dinner table. Not watching crap on boxing day telly with the crappy biscuits left in the tin balancing on my enormous bump.
Although just had a lovely beach walk to try moving things again, but not very hopeful.
My induction is booked for Monday. I had a sweep at 39+6,whixh didn't do anything.
This is dc2.DC1 was born at 40+8, without need for induction.

My DC3 was my most overdue - I was induced at 13 days over in the end. But she was my best birth experience, first contraction to delivery was a mere 45 minutes and I was sat at home on my sofa with a curry 4 hours after she was born. She was so ready to come and the way out was nice and clear after 2 previous!
