Hi, I have just had a 20 week scan and a 26 week follow up and have been told my child will be born with talipes (clubfoot).I am currently being seen at the UCLH hospital in London and was wondering if anyone has had experiance with the ponsetti method there, or can anyone reccommend me the best NHS hospital to be treated. Thanks Waiting to hear from you soon.

Hi there,

I don't have any experience myself but I understand the charity Steps are experts when it comes to talipes. I'm sure they'll be able to provide you with answers to all your questions and concerns. www.steps-charity.org./

I hope this helps

Heya,

Just asked a friend of mine he recommended Steps as well
He was born with a club foot and to be honest until he mentioned it a year or so later i never would have guessed

My DS was born with positional talipies - not club foot per se as the left foot was bent the other way due to getting stuck under my ribs. He was treated with ponsetti at Addenbrookes in Cambridge and the results were and have continued to be outstanding. Good luck.
