Positive preg test yesterday afternoon, negative this morning?

TTC no 4 and am due AF on Christmas Day. Did an Asda test yesterday afternoon and got a faint but clear pink line - did another first thing this morning and .... No line. Been feeling knackered and sore boobs so was hoping to be pregnant but now it seems not. Also have had 2 chem pregnancies in the last 3 months so worried this is another one. Anyone want to hold my hand or give your opinions on what's going on? Don't know what to think!

Test again on Christmas Day, its possible that one test gave a false result but you may as well leave it a couple of days for (hopefully!) HCG levels to have time to increase significantly. Good luck!!

Thank you Rockchick. It's my 4th so I shd really know all this, but I have never had any issues getting pregnant before. Probably because last time I was 34 and I am now 39 I guess. And a new partner as well I guess makes a difference. Just don't understand how a positive in the afternoon can be a negative the next morning. Will try to hold off testing till AF due on Xmas day but it'll be hard!
