Don't judge me MN, and yes I have previously posted about preggo weight gain, but I've been good, really good lately.

Hubby is farmer gets up at 6am. Today I did too as I had to put some meat in slow cooker. Now I'm lounging in bed eating a bar of Dairy Milk (100g) that was supposed to be part of B-I-L Christmas present...

Guilty as charged. Hubby would think me really odd/no self control if he found out so wrapper etc will be concealed. Chocolate for B-I-L will be replaced and well I'll prob have bacon for breakfast with hubby.

I just REALLY fancied it.

Marvellous! Go right on. Am envious

Mumbledore · 22/12/2013 07:38

Maybe it wasn't so much you that fancied it, it's entirely possible the baby did in which case you are entirely blameless Xmas Grin enjoy!

catameringue · 22/12/2013 07:41

I've had a twirl for breakfast. It's a nice way to start the day!

ClearlyMoo · 22/12/2013 07:48

Chuckle. Thanks mumble, winky & meringue! Nowt left but the wrapper now!

Burn the wrapper in your range (all farmers have them) then enjoy the bacon knowing you have concealed your crime! :-))

Spaghettinetti · 22/12/2013 08:07

Ha ha...don't worry...I've done the same numerous times during this pregnancy...it's no wonder I've spent so much this Christmas!

ClearlyMoo · 22/12/2013 08:20

bella the range is next door in M-I-L's house. We live in the (very nice) Granny Annex! I think I'll wrap it in tissue and put it in a bin.

Ah the twirl for breakfast was a pregnancy staple for me! Enjoy!

PuppyMummy · 22/12/2013 08:49

Lazybones80 · 22/12/2013 09:01

I'm so relieved it's not just me! I had actually resolved to give up chocolate after reading on MN that it wakes the baby up! I may crack open the 500g bar from hotel chocolat that's been calling to me from the cupboard Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 22/12/2013 10:56

I ate a whole Terry's Chocolate Orange at 7am a few mornings ago Xmas Grin

FobblyWoof · 22/12/2013 12:39

I had half a chocolate orange for breakfast Grin

beth27123 · 22/12/2013 13:51

I quite often had a box of chocolates by the bed for night snacks...and breakfast....

Pancakeflipper · 22/12/2013 13:56

Decided the neighbour didn't really want shortbread for Christmas so ate some of it myself today.
And I am not pregnant. And now off to the shop to replace it with something I don't like eating.

Shellywelly1973 · 22/12/2013 15:13

I had wine gums for breakfast!

I keep buying sweets for the neighbours but end up them!

princesscupcakemummyb · 22/12/2013 15:29

Nulanoo · 22/12/2013 15:55

SweetPea86 · 22/12/2013 18:13

I treated my self to a big box of milk tray will tell hubby some one from work got me them. Will try and make them last

beela · 23/12/2013 08:24

I cracked open the Christmas chocolates on Friday. Only problem is that 3yo dshas discovered them too, and is not convinced by the explanation that 'they are for the baby'.

ClearlyMoo · 23/12/2013 08:28

You all rock! Thanks for the piggy support! Husband is going out shopping today! Hopefully to buy me Christmas presents!! I can get rid of the wrapper then. Last night I wrapped B-I-L's pressie without any choccy in. I think hubby will forget we'd bought him any!

At it again this morning. Have 20 week scan today and was freaking out. Have eaten ALL the Roses from the tin (we opened them on 23/12) except strawberry and orange ones. Really hoping DH doesn't try and have one for a day or two, and discover my pigging out. It's always 7am. I'm sure it's just permissivity of allowing myself to have choccy rather than actual "the baby wants it"!

We went a bit mad with chocolate this year and bought loads.

So far we have only eaten the HUGE box of Thorntons tribute to British puddings (one left and calling my name) and a couple of boxes of after eights, but these were taken out at a party.

DH goes back to work tonight, so I will be indulging then! Xmas Grin

sarahstrong · 27/12/2013 12:49

Can't stop laughing to tears at all of these, especially pancakeflipper!! I would be doing exactly the same if I was at home (including hiding all evidence from significant other) but am in Cambodia at the moment so it's more noodles-r-us rather than Cadbury's Sad

sarahstrong · 27/12/2013 12:56

Although saying that, I'm much more partial to Christmas cake. I'm pretty sure I could eat a whole one if it was put in front me.

ClearlyMoo · 27/12/2013 19:59

Hubby gave me 9 walnut whips for Christmas. I just ate two. The other is sitting on the table. I could offer it to him. I could eat it. I could put it away. I wonder if he'll notice if I just eat it.
