26 weeks pregnant today and my little one has not stopped moving for over 2 hours and 15 minutes....

He keeps grabbing/stabbing/kicking my cervix and it is actually quite uncomfortable now... Hmm Grin

At what point do they either get bored or wear themselves out and go to sleep? I would like some respite Smile

Looks like your baby will be an active one, ds was like this and dd was always a sleep which is more worrying as she didn't move for hours.

I would try not to worry lots of movement is better than none at all.

Mine is pretty active on a morning, must like an afternoon snooze, likes to party around late afternoon, snooze early evening then either go grape stopping or raving for most of the night Grin.
Hope this isn't a sign of what I've got in store when she's born Wink

In the Last few weeks if you notice a pattern, they do normally stick to it.

I used to say that DD had tools! It was horrific at times, but she was a good sleeper when she a baby (sometimes hahah)

Lots of movement is good but you have my sympathy as it can be uncomfortable and painful at times.

I had lots of movement with DD#1 as had a lot of amniotic fluid so it felt like she was having a non stop party in there cartwheeling around all the time! When I told midwife she said bubs can still kick out/move in their sleep!

Beans1977 · 22/12/2013 08:22

Oh - and like others when DD arrived there was nothing more she liked to do than sleep!

I posted about this the other day. First time pregnant and couldn't eat on Friday lunchtime cause baby was moving so much he made me feel sick! Lol calmed down a bit now. Am 33 weeks

It's just the most weird sensation isn't it Grin

I'm hoping that he wears himself out so much he will want to do nothing but sleep, sleep and sleep some more when he's born Xmas Grin
