Help needed ! I trew away instructions and box of two tests

So bought a boots pregnancy test just wondering what a positive is I done it this morning and it's the one where it doesn't have anything written on it and has a circle window nearest to the pee end and then a smaller skinny oval window after that !? So I got a vertical line in first circle window and a horizontal line in small window any body help me out with some answers?

Hi I can't find the instructions but on the boots website these tests get terrible reviews, the worst I've ever seen for a pregnancy test eg

"Absolutely useless. Every single test had a major evaporation line horizontally straight across both windows.
With most tests any line in the "test" window is generally regarded as a positive. However, it is entirely impossible to determine a result from these tests and therefore they are a complete waste of money..."

and

"Followed the instructions, tested 5 days after missed period and checked after specified result time. It came out positive, this really distressed me as I am on the pill and don't want a baby. I went to the doctors to confirm the pregnancy and it turns out I'm not pregnant and that the test was a false positive"

so having read the reviews I would be very tempted to throw them away and get some more. I find the ones in poundland (2 for £1) are very accurate, if that helps

If its the same as the one I did thats a negative result, a positive comes up as a + in the first window and the other line is the control line.

I deffo agree pound shop ones!!!!

I paid for 2 clear blue and it didn't work pound shop ones worked straight away. Xxxxx

I used boots wuth dc1 and my result had cross in second window which is positive, id say yours is negative. I second pound shop ones being good if your far enough along.
