Hi, as I said I'm 37 on Thursday. My first thing to mention is I keep getting damp knickers (tmi) sorry Shock it's not wee I don't think it smells of nothing. I wouldn't say sweet like they say your waters are supposed to smell so what could it be? I just keep getting wet patches but feel nothing come out.
Could it be waters or something else?
Also y body's been having a 'clear out' been having what I think are Braxton hicks. Shooting pains up my bits and extremely uncomfortable. Anyone think this could be early labour? Would love it too be but don't wanna get my hopes up Hmm
Would just like a bit if advise pls mums Smile Thanksnin advance Smile

The damp knickers could be increased discharge. If you're concerned, put in a pad and ring up your maternity ward and ask them.

It is normal to get increased discharge in late pregnancy. To check if it is your waters lie down for an hour with a pad on, if you get a lot of fluid coming out in one go when you stand up it could be your waters (they will pool in your vagina while lying down). Keep that pad if you do so maternity triage can check it.

I'm 34 weeks today and I've been having everything you describe for a whole now. Damp knickers since start of 3rd trimester and increasing Braxton's and stabby pains this past week. I think it's just everything gearing up.

Yes good advice so far. I'm afraid damp knickers can be quite common with increased discharge etc
