I am not quite sure if I have reason to worry! Please help if you know the answer.... I'm 25 weeks have been diagnosed with a low lying placenta... Made it this whole time with no spotting and have been abstaining from sex. Decided to try slow, easy intercourse this morning and I have brownish mucous I discharge today ..... I go to the dr. On Tuesday so I decided to to call today and freak out too much!

No, you need to call and get it checked out.

Hope you're ok. I had exactly the same with my first preg and was fine. Brownish mucus is old stuff not fresh blood so I dont think it is really anything to worey about.

You need to call and get checked out. Its likely to be nothing to worry about but your GP can't do anything anyway, you need to speak to your antenatal department / labour ward.

Do get it checked, but It is likely to be ok.
I had something similar, and it was nothing, but they also did a swab test to check for infection.

You're not making a fuss to get it checked. Hopefully, it'll only take a few minutes and you'll be able to get on with your day.
