I am testing 6 times a day fasting when I get up, 2 hours after breakfast, before lunch, 2 hours after lunch, before dinner & 2 hours after dinner. My question is can I have a drink in the 2 hours between lunch and testing etc? at the moment I am having a water if needed but I am only 12 weeks PG (I had GTT with 3rd DS thus as being tested early) in the last 3 days I have had 5 results over NICS guide lines so I know I will be testing and on meds for the next 26 weeks So can I have more than water for the 6 hours a day or not??

Best ask your midwife or doctor.

You can drink anything but take into consideration the carb/ sugar content. I find sugar free/ diet fizzy drinks have no effect on my results maybe it'll be the same for you, it's trial and error really, my diabetes nurse said any more than 2 results over in a week and they put you on meds, I'm on insulin and been on it for about 5 weeks
