I'm 7+5 days pregnant and all my symptoms have gone! Iv felt sick since about 5 weeks and my boobs have been so sore. over the weekend iv come out with an awful cold. Since then my sickness has totally gone and today my boobs feel back to normally. Iv had 3 mc in the past and I'm so worried the baby has stop growing again. :(

Hi, This is quite normal in the early weeks of pregnancy so try not to worry (I know easier said than done). Remember some people go through their entire pregnancy with very few symptoms at all. Symptoms such as nausea are not a reliable indication of how the pregnancy is going, and I certainly found on a day to day basis it varied. In fact you may well find they return with a vengence tomorrow! It is such a tough time in the early weeks, particularly if you have previously suffered a loss. Try not to worry and fingers crossed all goes well for you.

This is really common and doesn't mean anything in particular. I know it is hard after previous MC, but try not to overanalyse. I have two children and pregnant with a third (also 2 MC) and each pregnancy has been different in terms of the symptoms and their consistency.

You are quite close to the point where an early viability scan would be an option and give decent reassurance (that's around 8-9 weeks). If you aren't being offered one because of your history, could you look into having one privately? Once you have seen a nice strong heartbeat at that stage, the chances of MC fall a lot so would help get you through to 12 weeks and the first standard scan?

Charlotte I'm in a really similar situation and agree with the earlier replies that symptoms can come and go.

I'm 9 weeks and had the flu jab last week, have come down with cold symptoms and all my nausea has vanished. I've also had a bit of pain and light spotting plus a MMC in August so decided to go to the EPU. They were fab, reassured me about the symptoms and then did a scan where we saw a little heart beat and everything as it should be.

Would an EPU be an option for you and some reassurance?

I'm sure everything is fine, it's not atypical for symptoms to stop. I'm 20 weeks and still waiting for any symptoms!

Thanks for replying everyone! Still no symptoms today so I'm going to just enjoy not feeling sick and try not to worry!

If you had a missed miscarriage, chances are you would still have pregnancy symptoms, because it would still be pumping out hormones, as your body won't have realised it wasn't viable yet. Symptoms come and go, like the others have said. Someone on another thread mentioned that steroids mask symptoms like nausea, so are you on any medications? I haven't been sick at all in my pregnancy, and maybe felt a half dozen twinges of nausea between weeks 7 and 9 but otherwise nothing, and barely had sore boobs, and they haven't gotten bigger, but I've got a healthy and happy kiddo in there.
