I'm due March 28th too Smile

Me and my husband haven't quite accepted there's going to be a baby yet though, let alone packed a hospital bag Grin

Rowboat · 01/12/2013 10:03

Crikey that's nearly 4 months! Im 37weeks and still have things that need to go in the bag! It's lovely how excited you are though, im still in denial Grin

Artesia · 01/12/2013 10:32

Due in 10 days and not packed mine yet!

GeppaGip · 01/12/2013 12:19

I'm going inot hospital for c-section a week tomorrow and still procrastinating over packing my bag (38.5 weeks here) Blush

MiracleOntheM4 · 01/12/2013 12:23

Wow! That is organised. I'm due this month and haven't packed! Was much more organised with DD1.

SuzyP36 · 01/12/2013 12:37

I'm due on 5th january & still haven't packed my bag yet, got some bits & bobs but have no intention of piecing them together in the actual bags yet as all 4 of my last dc were between 4 & 14 days lateGrin

slightlyinsane · 01/12/2013 12:56

Blimey your organised. Mine got packed whilst in labour all 3 times lol

Shellywelly1973 · 01/12/2013 14:19

Im due 28th January. I don't even own a bag to pack! Lol.

You sound very organised. Pack your bag if you want to...I know it would annoy the crap out of me & just collect dust!

happywithit · 01/12/2013 18:27

Shock i am the only one doing things earlier, i mean very earlier, just because i know that anyone can give birth from 7months, that means it left just 2 months for me and i really don't like to buy in the last minute anything i find in the shop, so once i pass the 20weeks i start choosing the hospital pyjamas, robe, sleepers, etc......
it will be c-section is well but you never know, maybe the baby will just decide to came out anytime Grin, so let's get ready.

After a scare early on and my husband arriving at the hospital with a selection of incredibly unstable items I assembled my bag as soon as I got out and have left it by the door.

TobyLerone · 01/12/2013 23:10

Ha! My DH is getting a bit panicky that I haven't packed a bag yet, and even my midwife is making noises about how I ought to do it soon.
I'm 35 weeks.

I don't think I'd like to do it with 4 months to go. I'd like everything to be freshly laundered, not having hung around in a bag for ages.

But no harm in it, if it's what you want to do...

Xenadog · 02/12/2013 04:08

I'm due a C section on 11th December (official EDD 16th) and haven't packed yet! I almost feel that if I do pack the bag then I may just end up going into labour and I don't really want that as baby is breech (transverse) and it's much better to just have the elcs.

I have actually made a list of what I need (but lost it - oops!) and have vowed I MUST get the bag packed this week but as I hate packing cases to go on holiday this might just not happen until 10th December!

OP if it makes you feel more in control then fine pack your bag and be ready - you have to do what's right for you!

happywithit · 02/12/2013 20:00

TobyLerone don't worry i will wash them just before time, but just i make sure everything is there, as when its left 2 weeks i have to wash them with non bio even the new ones. so my bag is all the time fresh. i already did it with my 2 previous pregnancies.
