2 weeks overdue with 1st child, will be 2nd be the same /:?

So I went 14 days overdue with my first child (a girl) and was induced. I'm now 37 weeks pregnant with my second (a boy) and worried I'll go over and need to be induced again.
Baby has been head down since 32 weeks and is now 4/5 engaged.
Can anybody give me any hope or stories of how your labour started and how far along you were.. Thanks :D

Two weeks early with dc2 and on time with dc3. I wasn't induced though with dc1 went into labour naturally.

No, ds1 was 14 days over (not induced) ds2 1 day over.

I was two weeks over with ds and induced which ended up with an EMCS so I was scheduled to have an ELCS with dd a week before she was due.
Never made it that far, ten days before she was due I had a really sore pelvis all day, cramps on and off and then my waters broke as I sat down to dinner with friends for dh's birthday.
Had an EMCS a few hours later.

my mum was induced at 2 weeks for 3 of her 4 pregnancies (my sister was induced prematurely) and all of her induction took several days to get things kick started - so I guess it really depends what your body is like - it could be a one off or it could normal for your body - all i know is I'm expecting that I'll follow in my mum's path (and not looking forward to the extra wait!)

DS1 ended up being pulled out 16 days after EDD.
DS2 fell out 4 days after his.

10 days overdue with DD1. DD2 born on her due date. You might be lucky

Ds1 finally arrived at 42 +5 after I was induced.

Ds2 arrived on his EDD without any prompting.

6 days over with dd after a 12 hour labour, and ds was born on Saturday 3 days over after a 4 hour labour.

Both of mine were induced 2 weeks late. I'm hoping for 3rd time lucky :o

I certainly hope he makes an appearance earlier than his sister , I've had twinges and period pains on n off for a week but no consistantsy with them :/

Dd was a week late.
Her little brother was born ten days early catching me right off guard! Good luck with it all, so exciting!

Induced at 42 weeks with DC1, natural labour at 40+4 with DC2.

I did have acupuncture from 37 weeks though (with a specialist in fertility etc), with a view to helping things get moving. Who knows if it helped - I went into labour the same day as my last session with her though, when she said she'd 'had a really good go at it' .

It would be nice to see how I start off if I go naturally.. Anybody else 37 weeks atm?

DD induced at 40+14.

Booked in for induction with DS at 3pm at 40+13. He was born that day at 2:07 after a 40 minute labour- much better than induction!
