I'm having a high vaginal stitch put in on Monday at St Thomas' using an epidural as pain relief. This is due to only having 17mm of cervix left after cervical surgery. I am very nervous about the procedure and want to know what to expect. Never had an epidural before. What is it like being awake during surgery??!
