you will... just wait, give it 10 weeks

Charingcrossbun · 23/11/2013 08:59

Don't worry you will get there - then you can look back on this thread as the good old days where your bladder was used just for your own bodily functions and not as a kickboxing practice for baby :)

EXTERMINATEpeppa · 23/11/2013 09:07

exactly just you wait until you have to be a contortionist to shave your legs, you just have to blind it with your fanjo tbh.

your bras wont fit, your fingers will get fat & every mother looks at you with pityGrin

its just such a beautiful time sobGrin Grin

30 weeks here. It'll come believe me.

You're doing well not feel pg yet. By then my SPD had kicked in & I was getting the really bad heartburn / vomiting I get in 2nd trimester under control with medication.

The eating slows down as you run out of stomach space.

ZenOfPetals · 23/11/2013 09:15

Sorry, not actually pg, but saw ZenNudist was the last poster, so felt obligated/ compulsed to make sure this thread is full of Zen...

Xenadog · 23/11/2013 09:34

Can I post too - as I'm a Xenadog and it sounds like "Zen"? Grin

Seriously, OP you will feel and look pregnant soon enough despite eating for 12! Don't try to rush through to the end; it will be here before you know it and those last few weeks when you most definitely look and feel pregnant will just drag! (I'm almost 37 weeks and the last 5 weeks have actually taken 6 months I swear!)

MrsRV · 23/11/2013 10:54

I remember feeling much happier being pregnant with DD and I was a bloody stone heavier than I am now at this stage with her. I just feel fat and pissed off this time. Already started fighting with my tights. fucking bastard things.

I feel way too pregnant, I wouldn't mind it c

womma · 23/11/2013 10:57

I feel way too pregnant, I wouldn't mind it coming down a notch or two! I'm 20 weeks and into my 15th week of continual ''morning' sickness', have developed chronic IBS and am terribly c

I feel way too pregnant, I wouldn't mind it coming down a notch or two! I'm 20 weeks and into my 15th week of continual ''morning' sickness', have developed chronic IBS and am terribly constipated. I also feel like a sack of bricks despite having lost 2 stone. So maybe you're doing alright?

womma · 23/11/2013 10:59

I also cannot use my phone properly, as you can see!

Julietee · 23/11/2013 10:59

I'm not even sure what pregnant feels like. I'm 27 weeks now and I still don't know! Is it when I feel him kick? Is it feeling more likely to cry at any given moment? Or is it some nebulous feeling of fertility that I just don't get yet?
Every woman and pregnancy is different, I don't think it does a lot of good to constantly compare your symptoms. If you've had a 12 week scan and there was a baby there, you're pregnant, whether you feel it or not :)

tracypenisbeaker · 23/11/2013 11:12

I'm 39 weeks and i don't feel pregnant. My coat is much tighter and I get the odd bout of acid reflux, but that is the extent of it for me. No cravings, no stretch marks, no dodgy balance. I'm just as mobile as I was before.

Not boasting (that would be a weird thing to boast about) but I did envision it to be a lot different/ harder iyswim? I've seen programs where they put prosthetic bumps onto teenage girls to scare them as they would get a shock from the extra weight and the girls are like 'OMAGOD It's like, so hard!' - bullshit in my case. I feel as light as a feather, and my growth scans/ midwife appointment measurements have told me that baby is measuring around 2 weeks bigger than average.

Moral of the story is, everyone is different so you can't gauge how you'll feel from other people's experiences- I am in no way discounting other posters individual experiences of 'feeling pregnant,' I'm just saying be aware that not everything in the books will apply to you- you don't need to 'watch out' for anything. I like to think of it like every person has their own individual cocktail of symptoms. x

EXTERMINATEpeppa · 23/11/2013 11:16

tracy

lucky bitch!!! Grin
at 39 weeks I was on bed rest

tracypenisbeaker · 23/11/2013 11:19

EXTERMINATE bed rest? With an unlimited supply of Brew and Cake yeah? Grin

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 23/11/2013 11:24

I'm the same as tracy some days - I forget I'm pregnant until I try to turn over in bed/put on tights/bend over.
Some evenings the baby moves so much I wish I could hand him/her to DH to have for a bit, so I could lose the roiling feeling.

I totally remember wishing to be more pg than I was, though - had no bump until 23-24 weeks (am tall and well padded), had no movements, ms died at 15 weeks, leaving me feeling just... meh for about 8 weeks.
