I'm 33 wks and feet at times have started swelling. I'm still working and feel great but I do spend a far bit of time still on my feet with my job, is there anything I can do to prevent this?? I'm guessing this is fairly normal at this stage and it doesn't help that is winter and we are all in boots instead of flip flops....what the best solution apart from putting feet up and resting as much as I can??

At your desk can you put your feet up on a box or something?

Would a session of reflexology be up your street?

sorry for the bad news but it only gets worse I am 35 weeks today and sit at a desk most of the day and my ankles get really swollen and only go down when I get home and chill Sad

drink LOTS of water and elevate your feet when you're at home so they rest above your heart (iyswim). hope that helps...it was the best advice I was given Wink

Finishing work was the only thing that helped me I'm afraid. I do quite an intense on your feet all day job and had got to the point where the swelling wasn't even going down through the night. I finished last Friday, spent most of the week resting and now I have ankles again!

I think the only thing you can do is to tell work you need to sit down! I know it's not always possible but ever 10mins every hr would make a huge difference.

Be firm....
