37+6 today and have period like pains in my lower back - is it safe to use a hot water bottle/ hot wheat bag?

Really hope it is the start of labour, so fed up with being pregnant. Want a baby not a bump :)

Hi. I asked my midwife this a couple of weeks ago and she said its fine, you could hold a hot water bottle against your bump. I said if probably do it in labour and she agreed it was a good idea, so go for it!!

Good luck. Fingers crossed this is the start for you! I'm 37w today so know how you feel!

My HWB has been a God Send when I've been all achey around my hips and pelvis. My husband moans at me because it makes the bed hot but he is just a grumpy sod at times Smile
