when will my labour start....or will it ever.....? Anyone got a crystal ball?

I am now 40+1 and I have been having periods of stomach cramps, lower back pain, lots of downward pressure and painful Braxton hicks for about a fortnight. Today is the worst so far and I have been uncomfortable and aching all day.

This is DC2 and DD1 was induced and born at 42weeks with not a sniff of natural labour before the drugs.

Anyone got a crystal ball and can tell me how long am I going to be uncomfortable for? Will I need to induced again and therefore have to put up with feeling like this for a fortnight......

I am so bloody grumpy this time round.....

I want to look in that crystal ball when you find it. I'm 38 weeks, huge and baby is low down and my hips and pelvis hurt. I'm also knackered. I've also had braxton hicks for ages. So you're not the only one feeling grumpy.
I was 3 days early with ds so really hoping I don't go over.
