Last night I was laying in bed, and felt a fizzing sensation beneath my belly button. I wondered what it was so jiggled my little bump, and I kept feeling the same thing.

Was this my baby moving?! I don't know if you can feel baby this early?

Yes, that sounds like it. Felt mine around then and earlier

lastnightopenedmyeyes · 16/11/2013 19:09

Yes. I felt my 2nd at 12 weeks. Felt 1st DC at 16 weeks.

puntasticusername · 16/11/2013 21:05

Yep. I first felt DC2 move on the day of my 12-week scan.

KirstyJC · 16/11/2013 21:07

Yep - I felt both DS2 and DS3 at 14 weeks. Congratulations, it feels great doesn't it!

BroodyTroody · 16/11/2013 21:27

Thank you, glad I'm not imagining things!

Yes it's amazing (must resist urge not to jiggle to encourage it to move more!)

Thank you for your replies Thanks

Go on, jiggle it!

And congratulations Thanks

TheRobberBride · 16/11/2013 21:36

Definitely possible. I felt DC2 around the same time.

DP was able to feel the baby at 16 weeks.

Belly button level sounds a bit high up at 14 weeks - your uterus is still in your pelvis at that point.

rachyconks · 16/11/2013 21:40

I felt my DD at 14 weeks (first pg), then 11+6 weeks with this DC. Entirely possible!

AngryBeaver · 16/11/2013 22:41

Tbh, I doubt you can feel them so early.
I'm pregnant with dc4 and am 17 weeks. Have just started feeling flutters.

Probably wind Wink

Ask your Mdwf...she'll probably say the same

AngryBeaver · 16/11/2013 22:41

Oh and congratulations Smile

I felt my third dc move at 12 weeks.

BroodyTroody · 16/11/2013 23:05

Thanks for your replies, even if I am a little confused now!

When I said beneath my belly button I didn't mean directly beneath, I meant lower down my body, iyswim?!

I'll just keep waiting, I'm sure I'll feel something definite soon enough!

Honey, if you are consistently feeling the same movement, I'm betting it is your weevil :)....

SecretWitch · 16/11/2013 23:13

Ohh..GAH!!!!! Your WEE ONE! not your weevil...

FunnyRunner · 16/11/2013 23:15

Yep. I felt DC at 14 weeks. Very distinctive feeling and didn't feel it again until 16 weeks Smile

PterodactylTeaParty · 16/11/2013 23:51

Weevil is fantastic though!

I felt mine at 14 weeks - slight but very distinct, like something flipping over and over inside. Felt the same thing again a few days later, then more often and more strongly over the next few weeks, and by 17 weeks it was super active and there was no denying what that feeling was. So yes, definitely possible.

MrTumblesKnickers · 17/11/2013 01:57

Yes, I felt DC2 at 14 weeks, it was unmistakable. And I was one of the 'there's no way you can feel the baby that early' gang before this instance Blush.

ZingWantsGin · 17/11/2013 06:06

yes, it's just like that. fizzy.
I felt it that early with DS2.

how exciting!

BroodyTroody · 17/11/2013 10:11
