Eek, is that what's happened to you? If you have a sterilisation at the time of C section, it's more likely to fail, which is why it's usually not recommended. The reason is that the fallopian tubes are enlarged in pregnancy, so when they shrink afterwards, the clips used for sterilisation can fall off.
