Strong lower back pains and cramping

Hi all,
I am just over 8 weeks pregnant and will be 41 tomorrow. Since this morning, I have been having VERY strong, but dull lower back pain and cramping - stronger than I experience with my period. Any ideas or suggestions?

Maybe a UTI? Speak to a doctor or midwife x

Cannot imagine it would be a UTI since I had a urine test last week at my appointment. But maybe . . .

Uti can come on quite quickly and are really common in pregnancy. Worth a quick GP appointment to check.
How's everything else going for you?

After a restless night, the cramping has not lessened. It is mostly in the center of my lower abdomen and lower back. No nausea, no bleeding.

Aww I'm sorry you're still feeling rough. Happy Birthday though!

I had this at around that time. It was diagnosed as round ligament pain, natural in pregnancy.

If you're not bleeding and have no other signs, I would imagine that is it. I hope you can get a more comfortable night.
