When did you have your 12 week scan!?

Inspired by the thread about when people had their 20 week scan

I'm having my 12 week scan on 20th nov.
By my calculations (which are 100% correct!!) I will be 11+2 (although doctors spinny wheel says I will be 12+1 ... Not true!)

When did you have yours?

When is yours booked for?

Previous 2 pregnancies were roughly 12.2 and 13 weeks.
Didn't have a 12 week scan for this pregnancy as I didn't even know I was pregnant till 25.3 weeks.
I had a scan at 25.3 weeks and got to find out due date,sex and that everything's fine all at once....
But my god It was all surreal I thought I was going through the change not expecting .

By my dates I was 12+1. The scan changed my dates slightly and put me at 12+4.

I haven't had mine yet but it booked for 13 +5 by my lmp though I suspect as I was temping that I actually ovulated a few days later. We shall see!

I'm a bit worried that mine is at 11+2.... Obviously I'm happy I get to have it a bit sooner but I hope it's not TOO early!
Anyone else had theirs around 11+2?!

I had mine at 12+3 and my 20 week will be at 20+2

Ds is 5 months now but I had my 12 wk scan at 10+2 and 20wk scan at 19 wks.

According to me I was 12+1. Babies measured 13+1.

I had mine at 11+5 but by my calculations I was 12+4

I didn't find out til 21 weeks so my first scan was the anomaly scan where I was given the exact gestation based on measurements, EDD & we decided to find out the sex as well. All in one go!

Honestly I wouldn't stress too much about exactly when your scan takes place, the main thing is that all looks normal & progressing well.

Even if you have a cycle like clockwork and know approx when you ovulated, have sex etc- fertilisation can take place during a wider window ie not just on the day you ovulated/had sex.

I was the same as horrace . Turned out to be 11+1 and baby was too small for the nuchal test which can only be done between 11+3 and 13+4. I had to go back a week later.

I had mine at what I thought was 12 exactly, doc said was 13 weeks exactly. They dated me at 12+4

I think it's all a bit random. I'm sure it won't be too early at 11+2.

When I was booking mine I was told you have to be minimum 12 weeks.

My gp told me yesterday that they do the first scan here at 10 weeks now... strange...

13+5. I changed the date of it because they originally had me down as it being for about 11+4 but I knew that would be too early because I ovulated late.

The sonographer told me they can't do the NT measurement any earlier than 11+3.

I was exactly 12 weeks going off lmp but measured 12+6 at the scan

My 20 week one was done at 20+1 (based on first scan dates)

All seems to measure correct for dates according to scans so I think I ovulated early though I never kept track of ovulation when ttc.

We had ours on Thursday 7th November 2013, but found out out baby was 11 weeks instead of 12+4. We're going back on the 19th for a proper dating scan and so they can measure the fluid in the neck.

It was amazing seeing our baby for the first time though, I can't express how in love I am with our baby (there is a photo in my profile if you're interested)

27th of September I was 12 + 2. I thought I was + 4. it was amazing baby bouncing around. Next scan in 13 days exciting

The baby has to measure a minimum of 45mm head to bottom for the earliest they can do the Combined screening test. This can be from around 11+ 4 or 11+5/40. Max measurement 84mm. Abound 14+3-5/40.
If they scan you and your too early, and you still want NT they should rebook you. It's no problem.
If your later you can be offered the quadruple test. IMO this is better as defects more things than the NT does.

With dd I was 10+4 and with DS 13+3
