Outfit for a birthday meal but where to shop?!

So in December I have dh's grandfathers birthday meal so I need something to wear that won't make me look like I bought a tent. I have no idea what would be the most suitable thing to wear, and where is best I shop? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'll be 27 weeks. Will that not be a bit chilly for the winter?

eBay! Depending on what sort of thing you want/need and how dressy it needs to be. There're lots of dresses that you could either dress up with nice accessories or you could buy a cheaper(-ish) one-off from eBay that is a bit more dressed up, like Tiffany Rose stuff?

I have this, which I've worn to a couple of parties/dinners with a cropped cardigan on top. It's really comfortable and looks lovely on.

Pop a warm cardi over it and you will be fine
