I'm 30+3 with DC3 and this morning when I got up I felt a pop & a gush and made a puddle on the bathroom floor Blush

I've been in to the PAU and they monitored the baby and did an examination and said they couldn't see any evidence my waters had gone and basically I must have wet myself.

I'm worried because for the amount of fluid that came out I'm sure I would have noticed the sensation of peeing? I'm also suspicious as when I went in at 37 weeks with DC1 having had the same thing happen they said they could find no evidence and I gave birth 12 hours later Shock

I don't see that I can do much about it other than take the doctors word for it?

Did they scan you? I'm assuming they've done a VE which showed a closed cervix, but I'd go back at the slightest twinge if I were you, and call your MW on Monday to express concerns regarding similar events last time!

No, they said they wouldn't scan unless they could see any fluid, which he said he didn't. Not had any twinges, with DC1 they said it can sometimes be difficult to tell if your forewaters have gone?

agree with feather. keep a watchful eye. I've never had my waters go before labour so I can't really comment but I do have a terribly weak bladder!
I ve had leaks before but not a great whole gush. you would have to be super incontinent for that to happen I would think. did you need the looked beforehand or had you drunk a lot?
I'm 39 weeks here and often its hard to empty myself fully but I always know when I need it iykwim.

Why don't you keep a pad on for a while and overnight and see what happens?
