I'm 27 weeks but measuring 29 weeks. I'm only 5 ft 3 so my bump looks massive.

I needed an EMCS for DC1 because she got stuck, but she was also in a bad position.

I'm supposed to be trying for a VBAC this time arrrrgh :(

Midwife said not to worry.
I'm very worried Grin. Am I having a ginormous baby?

I wouldn't worry about it at all pokes, at 28 weeks I was measuring 32 and have had a couple of growth scans. I am now 39 weeks and measuring 40. Babies, like people, have growth spurts and then calm down for a bit. DC1 did exactly the same thing and was 8lb 4 when he arrived. The hospital will scan you if they are concerned, but my sonographer seemed to think that scanning me was an over reaction.

They will scan you if concerned, but as windywoo says it could just be a growth spurt thing.

I measured small and was sent for extra scans in all three pregnancies (though particularly by the 3rd time the sonographer was very bemused why the midwives were sending me yet again). Babies were all very much normal size (7lb2 - 8lb2)

Try not to worry I was measuring 32 weeks at 28 weeks, got sent for growth scan and DD arrived at 40 weeks and 7lb 7oz

I was measured at 31cm at 28 weeks. My mw didn't seem in the least concerned and doesn't want to see me again until 34 weeks.

When I was pregnant with DD, I was measuring quite small for my dates. They sent me for scans at 32 & 34 weeks and everything was fine. She was born at 42 weeks at 7lb 2oz. Perfectly normal.

Hi op, just wanted to reassure you. I was measuring 2 weeks ahead all throughout from about 16 weeks when they started measruing me. Dont know why as my dd was 6lb 15oz which is pretty average. I looked enormous and everyone told me for weeks before my due date i looked full term!

Try not to worry and not too get too annoyed when people tell you you look big, difficult though i know! I tried to politely smile and nod while restraining myself from punching them Smile
