Anyone else suffering? Am 36 weeks and last two days I want to scratch the skin off my feet... I'm in a warmer country but don't think it's related... Feels like I've been bitten by Mosquitos multiple times....

See you doctor or midwife ASAP. Could be obstetric cholestasis, which is serious but can be managed.

treaclesoda · 23/10/2013 13:37

yes, doctor's appointment, ASAP.

I was in hospital with a lady who had this, and both she and baby were fine, so try not to panic, but you really need to see the Dr or midwife ASAP, just in case that's what it is. Presumably there might be other causes too, but you definitely want to see someone and get checked out.

ILoveMakeUp · 23/10/2013 13:39

Please get this checked out as it may be Cholesatasis (very serious). Be prepared to be induced as it takes too long to get the blood test results back if you are outside Europe, IME.

Definitely get yourself checked out ASAP.

My sil had oc and while she and baby were both fine, if that's what it is it MUST be monitored.

Good luck

I get this also but suffer from excma (i think) in places on my body but most nights I find myself scratching unbearably all over my body. Been like this a few weeks

Stom91 · 23/10/2013 14:05

My mw told me if I get itchy hands or feet to call her straight away. Best be on safe side xx

Thanks ladies. Getting blood tests done in the morning. Itching has subsided but better to be safe. X
