Morning all. I'm looking for someone to reassure me please!
Am 11 weeks pg today and am convinced my symptoms are vanishing. I haven't had much sickness at all, just occasional bouts of nausea and for the last three days I've been fine. Only other symptom I have is very tender boobs, but they feel better too. Been awake since 4am, prodding my boobs and trying to convince myself that it's not a missed mc.
First pregnancy so no idea if this is normal.

Thoughts?

Same happened with me, have had a relatively symptom free pregnancy and now due in two weeks!

Do you have your scan booked, I found that massively reassuring.

Congratulations, OP. try to enjoy! X

Thanks broody.
Scan is next Thurs, which I'm sort of looking forward to and sort of terrified about!

Sounds normal to me, bang on right time for nausea to improve, boobs also.

Try not to worry ( i know its easy for me to say) , not long till your scan x

Same happened to me and the same time too....
I had a funny feeling you were going to say 11 weeks when I opened the thread! Apparently its really common but it doesnt do much for our nerves does it!!

Jenologist · 23/10/2013 10:58

Thanks for reassurance everyone. I know I'm being silly, but it feels like everyone I speak to who has ever been pg tells me they were sick constantly till 20 weeks!
FWIW, the boobs are definitely sore again!

I wasn't sick many times but I did have a general feeling of nausea and bloating for the first 12 weeks and then bam, I hit week 13 and it went away and hasn't been back (touch wood) so I don't think you have anything to worry about. All women are different though - my mother had morning, noon and night sickness for 6 months but my aunts had barely anything.

SNAP - 10 + 5 here & feeling totally not pregnant. Didn't have MS but a bit of nausea early on and really sore boobs. Actually squeezed my boobs last night and thought "it's ok that hurt" - which of course it would - more of a pinch than a squeeze. Scan a week Tuesday & I'm just terrified its going to be bad news. Have a DD who is 19 months & I didn't feel this worried with her. I did have MC in July so maybe that's making me a bit more anxious.

chloecorey · 23/10/2013 23:24

Oh my god you should be happy lol Smile same happened with me I was so scared but it's a good thing the sickness has one some people have it all the wag through which Is y I thought something was up too. I'm 30 week now, just take it easy and enjoy it Grinx

PrincessKitKat · 24/10/2013 06:53

I was the same. I was watching TV one evening in week 11 and suddenly felt better. Nausea never returned & tiredness improved dramatically from that moment on!

So far (17w) I've been very lucky & problem free. Everything crossed its the same for you and good luck for a clear scan & a happy, healthy baby Smile

Before I entered this I knew you'd be coming up to 12 weeks! It's really common for the early symptoms to go away now, you're just entering the next phase of pregnancy, and looks like you've left the sickness behind, congratulations! Don't worry. by the 3rd trimester you'll probably have loads of symptoms, just different to early pregnancy. (Constant weeing, waddling like a duck, heartburn, tiredness, possibly the inability to reach to put on your own knickers / socks etc Grin)

I remember one of my good friends for example saying she went to the scan ready to apologise for wasting everyone's time as she clearly wasn't pregnant, having no symptoms any more. She'd decided it must have been a phantom pregnancy or something. But there on the scan picture was her baby (now a strapping 7 year old!).

Enjoy this bit while it lasts!

UPDATE - Went for scan today and all is as it should be! They re-dated me to 11+2 today, instead of the 12+1 I thought I was. Little sprite is in there though, bouncing and waving away. Going for a second scan next week so they can get the NT measurement.
Thanks for reassurance from everyone. I'll still worry but not quite as much!

Fab news Jen! 1st scan is the best, so emotional when you get confirmation there is a little bean growing happily away in there Smile
