Ow Ow Ow! Sneezing and wriggling

I have allergies so sneeze quite a bit, but I'm finding that sneezing, and blowing my nose, feels quite tight and painful in my bump. (I'm 34+2).

Does anyone else have this? I am presuming it's quite normal?

Also, for the last few weeks my baby seems to wiggle about and kick me ALL DAY LONG. I know this is a really good thing and I should be happy, but good grief - I'd just like a little rest once in a while!! It's sooooo uncomfortable!

Well this has turned into a bit of a moan! I just want to finish work (2 weeks left) and meet my baby already!!

Sneezing etc feels tight on your bump because your abdominal muscles are quite stretched already: the contraction that accompanies sneezing puts mire pressure on them!

You only have 6 or so weeks left to feel those amazing kicks, twists and turns. Enjoy them whilst you still can Smile Your baby is almost here Smile

Good luck.

*mire = more

Youre a day ahead of me Citygirl, I've got a cold at the moment and the biggest sneezes seem only to appear in the middle of me having a particularly strong episode of Braxton hicks. The joys!
So you have my sympathy Brew

I know... I should relish it but I think I'm just one of those people that doesn't enjoy being pregnant!

Mogz - poor you! I don't think I've had any Braxton Hicks yet.

I'm a few weeks behind you but have been having exactly the same thing for weeks now. I suffer a lot with allergies and sneezing/coughing etc and my bump feels so stretched (all of the time) that sneezing etc is really uncomfortable, almost painful. I had always assumed it was normal, but being my first baby who knows! :) My baby also moves around a ridiculous amount, which also contributes to the feeling of stretching and tightness.

Whoever said this making babies thing was easy eh?! :)

I'm 29 weeks and when I sneeze I get a huge stabbing pain in my ribs. But my baby's breech at the moment so there's a whopping great big head stuffed under my ribs. It. Is. Agony. And a sneeze is generally followed by a scream of pain.

Also - braxton hicks are a bitch!
