Me! Fed up, basically. Can't wait to meet my baby and pick up my 2 yo for more than three seconds. (Although pretty sure I'll go overdue)

How are you? Are you doing the "is that a twinge? Is that a sign?" Thing yet?

Frecklesandspecs · 21/10/2013 07:44

yes. no 3 here but haven't had the tiniest twinge :-( baby wasn't even engaged at appt 2 days ago!
still can't wait to be back to normal!
I'm sure I Will go overdue too !

Me too, and baby isn't in the right position, so I'm another to go overdue I reckon. Think he wants to be a Halloween baby Halloween Smile
DD's 4 and can't wait for baby brother to 'pop out'. If only it were that easy!

polkadotsrock · 21/10/2013 07:54

I'm due Thursday. Had a bit of bloody show and some other signs LAST Sunday then slowly but surely all has calmed down. I could cry! Wasnt even feeling impatient but now it's all I think about.

Somethingpink · 21/10/2013 08:16

I'm due on the 5th but c-section is on the 29th Smile
I'm excited beyond belief, I'm off to the hospital this afternoon for my anaesthetist appointment and last midwife appointment..it is all starting to seem so real that it's actually happening now!! Grin

Frecklesandspecs · 21/10/2013 08:17

I keep checking for Show every time I go to the loo ! :-\

Ah the "fingers-crossed-for-a-show-thing"! I'm getting a bit obsessed. Loving the "pop out" theory!

NoodieRoodie · 21/10/2013 09:32

Also due on Thursday and fed up beyond belief! Feeling really uncomfortable and loads of pressure, so am hoping this one comes sooner rather than later. This might be wishful thinking though as ds was 11 days over :-(

purple84 · 21/10/2013 10:57

I'm due on 26th, throughout pregnancy I have thought I would be early for various reasons and now getting very impatient about it all, really don't want to go over due but looking that way.
Every twinge is just a giant tease to me at moment.
Good luck everyone that all goes well xx

Frecklesandspecs · 21/10/2013 11:11

purple same here. I had placenta previa earlier on which moved up and my cervix was short at 27 and more at 32 weeks. but I'm still here! I honestly thought I would pop about 36 - 37 weeks!

Due on the 4th. Would be over the moon with the 29th though Grin

This is my 2nd, DD went over by 10 days...Confused

Smerlin · 21/10/2013 13:27

Due tomorrow- no twinges or anything so can't help feeling like I'm on a fast (slow?!) track to induction Sad

SpoonfulOfJam · 21/10/2013 16:19

I'm due on 29th. It's my first. I don't know if these are normal aches and pains, or just in my mind, but feeling very mild period pains since Friday and my back has started aching.

I'm hopeful these are signs that things will happen naturally- I really don't want to be induced.

Frecklesandspecs · 21/10/2013 18:25

I don't either but today my body literally feels like it has given up! felt awful today. its been ok thus far. maybe things are gearing up for you spoonful. with my 1st I had this for a few days before proper labour started. good luck everyone.

I'm due on the 2nd although I don't finish work till (this) Friday and my FIL goes into [a different] hospital [to where I am going] on Wednesday for a heart op so I am fully expecting things to kick off on Thursday.

I'm fed up now. Having sailed through this pregnancy (sorry, I can feel the hatred), I am now at the 'fat, uncomfortable, tired, grumpy' stage. And I'm cross cos my friend who was due on the 7th quite literally popped hers out Saturday morning within 5 hours.

Also annoyed cos child has gone from being 3/5 engaged on the 3rd to 4/5 engaged on the 19th. (The hospital I'm booked in at works on a lower-the-number-the-further-engaged basis.)

NumberTwoDue · 21/10/2013 19:21

Cherrylips, I hate queue-jumpers too. It's just rude to have your baby out of the due date order!

Pentagon · 21/10/2013 23:38

I'm due on the 28th but have been expecting all along to be late (I was 10 days overdue with DD and that was after 2 sweeps). I'm not fully prepared yet and still doing bits and pieces around the house so I'm OK with the wait but ditto, I'd rather avoid being induced (and sweeps too, if possible)

CherryLips1980 · 22/10/2013 06:55

Waaah, I apologise for being smug about having an easy pregnancy :-/ spent yesterday evening with D&V and massive period pains. Got a bit excited just in case it was things kicking off but no. Still here, still pregnant.

windywoo26 · 22/10/2013 07:23

I'm due on 29th. So ready for baby to turn up now. This is baby 2 and I have a 19 month old DS. I am shattered and achy. Baby has now been 3/5 engaged (2/5 palpable) for over a month! I am desperately knicker checking for the show too but no joy. My DS was born at 38 weeks so feels like I am overdue when I am not. Have a sweep today (am a VBAC case so they will only let me go to 41 weeks before they give me a section). A week ago the mw was unable to do a sweep as cervix still too high. Fingers crossed today will be different. I have now booked acupuncture and a pedicure for the end of the week so I have something to look forward to.

Frecklesandspecs · 22/10/2013 16:49

cherry mine did that!
haven't even been out today. so exhausted.
no show yet either but slight period like pains this am which have since disappeared:-(
