Just had a listen into baby with my sonoline. Previously I've found it really low down on my pubic bone but today picked it up at the top of my knicker line/jeans waistband. Does this sound like baby has moved out of my pelvis now? 13+5 dc2Smile

Don't want to piss on your chips, but it is actually incredibly difficult to hear a baby's heartbeat that early on. Are you sure as well it's the heartbeat & not the placenta you're hearing? (Very very easy to confuse the 2). Anyway sorry, no help at all there Grin

Yep 100%, my midwife friend confirmed it for me and I remember the same galloping sound from dd.

I find the baby has been moving around when I'm trying to find it's heartbeat, sometimes it's quite low and on the left, other times high up on the right. Suppose at this stage it's got plenty of room to move about in Smile

I also know lots of people who say its really easy to mistake your own heartbeat for the baby's but if I was doing 160/170 bpm I think I'd have a problem!!!

My baby's heartbeat was heard at 13 weeks and the midwife had the probe just above my knicker line too Smile
