28 weeks and not felt baby move today?

Hi

I'm 28 weeks preggo and I've not felt baby move at all today, last movement was about 10pm before I went to bed, I've tried the cold water/sugary drink and a good old prod but nothing seems to be waking him up, should I phone the hosp? Try the water again? Or am I worried over nothing?

Left 2 message for midwife no answer yet!

Any advice??

Phone hospitaland go straight in to be checked out. Please don't wait. It's probably absolutely fine- but don't take the chance.

Call your maternity unit, if no response go to a&e or a walk in clinic. Don't wait for call backs. X always best to check and never a waste of time.

Whatever they say, get yourself seen x good luck op

Aeroaddict · 18/10/2013 14:22

Definitely go straight in and get checked out. It is almost certainly nothing, and the baby has just moved to a position where you can't feel the movement as much, but its not worth taking the tiniest chance.

Spoken to the midwife at the mau I think was transferred several times, she's asked me to come on in at 3pm very nice lady said it was probably nothing but baby moved into funny position but would like to check me over, thank you all glad I phoned now

Well, usually as soon as the straps go on they start kicking away. Then you can tell the cheeky little monkey/madam off for causing so much worry x Thanks

AuntieStella · 18/10/2013 14:47

I'm glad to see you'll be seen soon. Babies do sometimes go quiet for no apparent reason, but it's always important to be checked.

BigPawsBrown · 18/10/2013 14:48

Try lying on left side?

BettyBi0 · 18/10/2013 19:03

I had this, i think i went in about 4 times in all to check on lack of movement - it was fine every time but its better to be safe.
