So ladies I found . out I was pregnant 4 days ago and had blood tests on the sunday and my hcg levels were 188 I had a scan on monday morning and they cannot see a baby as its really early but they could see a small lump around the area of my right ovary. This led doctors to believe it could be a possible ectopic pregnancy I had my bloods taken again on wedensday and my hormone levels were 411 now by my own calculations I can only be around 4 weeks pregnant are these normal numbers??.. this will be my first child I am not presenting any signs of an ectopic pregnancy I am healthy and well no pains or bleeding I have to have my bloods done again on friday and they expect them to be over 800 I just can't help but worry

Have a look at this chart www.babymed.com/hcg-level-in-early-pregnancy

If you are only 4 weeks pregnant, your levels are totally normal! I don't think they can see anything on the scan until hcg is around 1000 or so. Normally hcy will double every 48 - 72 hours, but a rise of only 60% in that time is normal too. So you just have to wait and see what your levels do on Friday unfortunately Confused

From my understanding of ectopics, you might not have any signs until 8w or so, which is the point when baby becomes too big for the tube. Some people get pain and bleeding earlier though, so everyone is different!
