I've just hit my bump off the table

And I've not felt any movement since. Probably just paranoid but should I be worried? I'm 32+2.

Have a glass of really cold water that usually wakes them. If your still worried after that ring up the antenatal ward for advice. Hope everythings ok, try not to worry the baby is probably asleepThanks

Yes, ice cold water if you can.

I fell once and thought baby would be hurt but she was fine. Went to A&E as I hadn't felt movement either and was treated really well and got to listen to baby's heartbeat. I burst out in tears when I was told she was OK as I had been so worried baby was hurt.

Apparently they can withstand a hell of a lot in there so I think it depends how badly you hit your bump, but most likely all is well.

Ah never mind, he's woken up. Just a bruised bump :) sorry for the pointless thread!

Bless him, has no idea what is going on Smile

Not at all pointless.

I'm a paranoid first timer, can you tell? Grin

Glad he's given you a wiggle to let you know he's ok. If all else seems normal I'd not give it another thought (says the woman who walked over the cat and tripped, falling in to a bookshelf yesterday bump first, not my finest moment).
Just on thing though, if you've had to have an anti-D injection you should let your midwife know of any bumps, bruises and such as they might want to check that you've not bled, otherwise they'll have to do another injection.
Hope all else is ok, D day getting pretty close now! I'm a few days behind you and getting pretty excited (and exhausted!) Smile

DaleyBump · 07/10/2013 04:13

Thanks for the advice Mogz, fortunately I don't need the anti-D injection :) I know what you mean, on one hand I'm so excited and can't wait for my little man to be here but on the other I've just had enough of being pregnant and I'm absolutely devastated that I might have 10 more weeks to go! Grin hope things are going well for you :)

If in doubt, check it out :)

Thanks, I'm mostly over the horrors of hyperemesis but now struggling with SPD so getting fed up of this pregnancy lark too! Keep thinking if baby is early could be about 6 or 7 weeks away, but then if it's late 10 weeks feels like forever! Doesn't help that everyone I see now seems to think it their right to poke my belly and tell me I'm huge, that really helps the self esteem Hmm
Take it easy, no more walking in to things!
