Chinese gender chart: which one is considered more accurate?

Ok, I totally know this is just for fun but I'm sitting in a hospital bed attached to a drip due to HG so please indulge me.
I have found two versions. Both giving me different answers this time. Lots of the results are the same on both but a few are not and mine is one of them.
The one which says girl is the one where you use date of conception as well as mothers age (its the one on babycenter and Chinese fortune website) the other one asks for due date I think.
Either way when I read my lunar age plus lunar month of conception, one says boy and the other girl though they both were right for my other DCs as most answers are the same.
As I said, I know it's all for fun but I'm sick and its driving me nuts!
Any views? Smile

That sounds rubbish, poor you.
I've done the Chinese predictor things. I have no idea which way is more accurate but both ways say I am having a boy. And some things resonate, such as carrying all out front, craving spicy/salty foods, but then others like the colour of my wee (err, normal colour), and whether my pillow is facing north, well they're just daft.
The mothers-in-law both KNOW I am having a boy, somehow, so we've taking to referring to him as 'he'. It will be a surprise if it's a girl now!

Well from previous threads here they're about 50% accurate, so just pick one and go with it!

Thanks guys. I just wondered if anyone knew which one was considered more credible. I know neither are scientific but apparently one is based on the original and the other based on fragments.

I know it's very unscientific and all that and we've just has a cvs cause I'm very old but we opted not to know the sex on the phone and will not open the envelope containing the report. So we don't really want to know for definite just curious.

Have also looked at the Ramzi theory which claims to be hugely accurate. Apparently girls implant on the left and boys on the right. Can only be accurately determined by a scan between 7-9wks apparently because after that your uterus starts to stretch which can skew where the chorionic villus was.

Can you tell I'm bored stiff in hospital?

When I did this it said boy.

I had a tiny bump and carried all out front.

Everyone said it was a boy. We were convinced boy.

I had a girl! Amazing surprise.

I can't find anything on the internet about the different versions and which is considered most accurate.

I just did this for fun and it says girl! I thought at first I was carrying a boy but I thought this week it was a girl.

(I think my subconscious just wants to definitely be right!)

I conceived either 2 or 3 days before I ovulated, I think.

PatioDweller · 05/10/2013 13:13

Anybody know about the two different versions?
