Maternity tights... Where do I buy them from?

My 18wk bump is suffocating under normal tights and it is definitely that time of year.
Have you found any decent ones?
Thanks x

The H&M ones aren't bad but are a bit pricy.

WinteronPluto · 01/10/2013 12:32

I wanted to know that too!

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 01/10/2013 12:34

NOT Tesco!! I spent months hoiking them up. Angry
Mothercare were loads better.

Wimwom · 01/10/2013 12:46

Debenhams do some too - am about to wear them for the first time, so can't report on staying upness. But feel nice!

Tulip2013 · 01/10/2013 13:00

I bought some from topshop which fell down every few minutes. The jojo maman be be ones were the best ones I found.

Xalla · 01/10/2013 13:13

They're all crap in my experience. I just tried H&M but they looked cheap very quickly. Anyone tried Isabella Oliver ones? I'm considering splashing out!

LittleBearPad · 01/10/2013 13:13

Not M&S. They were useless.

Mamas and papas were better (not saying much)

MuggledWoman · 01/10/2013 13:20

Boots are great...as are Jojo Maman, but they're a bit more pricey.

jammiecat · 01/10/2013 13:26

I really like the Mothercare ones - fit well and not constantly pulling them up.

TobyLerone · 01/10/2013 14:28

I've got some Sainsbury's ones and some Blooming Marvellous ones. They're all fine.

KatoPotato · 01/10/2013 14:29

When I was pg I jsut bought a size or two larger and wore back to front, so that the double bum seam went over my bump.

elcranko · 01/10/2013 16:08

I got a decent pair from ASOS that stayed up.

FredFlintstonesSister · 01/10/2013 16:16

I got some ASOS ones because I wanted a high denier pair for a particular outfit. They looked really good but the top has a kind of rubber grip to it that itched! Sort of like the tops of hold ups stockings but round your bump... I prefer the mothercare ones for everyday wear.

FredFlintstonesSister · 01/10/2013 16:17

Katopotato, that's a really good idea!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 01/10/2013 16:50

I don't hate the M&S ones, but they are weirdly tight at the top of the thigh. Or maybe I just have fat thighs.

H&M ones - well, no idea. It's been 2 fecking weeks, and my order isn't here, so I can't bloody comment Angry.

I've heard bad things about JJMB ones before, and good things of ASOS. Anyone know when their next sale will be?

Happychick35 · 01/10/2013 17:06

after trying topshop, seraphine (never ever again) I found those on amazon, colours are not the best, but so far I only got two pairs and they wash really well, do not lose stretch, have not laddered yet and the price is good. I got my two pairs in July. So I would definetely recommend those www.amazon.co.uk/Fiore-Maternity-Tights-Denier-Medium/dp/B001ZP9P50/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1380643338&sr=8-2&keywords=maternity+tights

and debenhams are not too bad as well.

heidihole · 01/10/2013 17:11

I just bought 3 pairs off eBay (brand new) from a business seller. They're great. Stay up well.

louloubellamozzarella · 01/10/2013 17:27

Asos are good. I have a pair from h&m which are nice and thick - but not as soft as the asos ones but probably best for colder weather. I quite like the grippy bit at the too - they don't fall down!

Need a couple more pairs as I wear tights loads over winter, so I might try the mothercare ones and report back!

quackojuliet · 01/10/2013 17:38

I'm quite happy with my m and s ones but like humpty find them a bit small on the thigh so buy large (am usually medium)

JulietBravo81 · 01/10/2013 17:39

John Lewis ones are good- very comfy and stay up fine...

greentshirt · 01/10/2013 17:41

Ive ordered some 100 denier hold ups, am hoping they will solve all my tight issues!

MrsPatMustard · 01/10/2013 19:52

Mothercare ones laddered first time with me...
