Are there any pregnancy multivitamins that I can take that arent the size of horse tablets?! I have been taking pregnacare since 4 weeks but in the last week or so I havent been able to stomach it at all and it makes me retch so much I cant get one down. Im 12 weeks today so I suppose I have got a good lot in during the time you really need the folic acid, but I would like to continue if poss.

Am looking for an alternative, pref a multi vitamin. Otherwise, do I just need to continue with folic acid and vitamin d?

I have had this problem too. Took vits every day with DS but have been really slack with this one, as they were making me retch or actually sick.
Keep meaning to put them in a teaspoon of golden syrup, which worked great when I was younger.

I took folic acid, vitamin D and fish oils, as well as a healthy diet.
Here is a great website for pre-conception, pregnancy and diet info (Anne-Marie is a colleague, not self promoting!)

Lloydspharmacy own brand preg vits are a little bit smaller than pregnacare - also cheaper and have the same vitamin contents. Could you chop one in two and eat with your main meal to disguise? :)
